Sean Tyas is a DJ and electronic music producer. Commercially, he has remixed artists such as Christina Aguilera, Pink, and Moby, but has proceeded to become one of the Trance music 'elite', associated with artists such as Armin Van Buuren, John Askew and John O'Callaghan amongst countless others. His performaces have been seen globally; from Australia and America to Indonesia and Ireland. Originally he is from New York, but currently lives in St. Gallen, Switzerland, where he met his wife, Mirella Tyas (a Swiss native). In 2006 he wrote a song for her entitled Mirella.[3]

Sean has released work under several major record labels, including Armin Van Buuren's A State of Trance (under his "Logistic" pseudonym), and John Askew's Discover.

Various high-profile Trance DJs have commented on the exceptional quality of Sean's production work. “Sean Tyas has to be the hottest trance producer around at the moment” – Armin van Buuren.[6] He has also been featured in both Mixmag (February 2007) and DJ Magazine (January 2007) in prospective future star full-page spreads.

Residency

Tyas recently became the quarterly resident DJ for Sheffield (UK) trance night Off The Rails.

Radio

Sean presents two monthly radio shows: The Wednesday Whistle and Phased Out Phridays.
